The season finale of the ninth season of MasterChef India is now over. Vikram, who is from Nagpur, along with Ajinkya Gandhe, won the MasterChef India trophy. Cafe owners Ajinkya and Vikram have made their mark during the season for their excellent collaboration skills and new ideas on the flavors.
The judges of MasterChef India chose the duo as their favorites. They have been commended for their skills, as well as their kind heart and generous nature. They have become the first finalists, and they probably have been the most discussed pair of the season. People have liked their idea, as well as the presentation, which helped them win the trophy in the Orange City of Maharashtra.
The brothers' victory has sparked celebrations in their hometown. The entire city rallied in support of the brothers on social media. Maharashtra Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari had also previously congratulated the two on social media, praising their achievement and calling it a proud moment for Nagpur.
The ninth season of MasterChef India began in January. For the first time, contestants appeared in pairs, where family members form pairs to compete together. Renowned chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Kunal Kapoor were the judges for this season. In addition to Vikram and Ajinkya, the finalists also included sisters Anju Pradhan and Manju Ojha, and mother-daughter duo Chandana and Sai Sri Rachakonda, vying for the trophy and the special Golden Chef Coat.
