'Mirzapur's Golu will now make a film, featuring the love story of two women
Shweta Tripathi: 'Mirzapur' fame actress Shweta Tripathi is now ready to join film production after acting. She has films of many genres. She was about to join her upcoming project as a producer, but then she decided to become a producer.



Shweta Tripathi from 'Mirzapur' is all set to foray into working in the industry as a producer post-acting. She has several projects in varied genres. Her first production project will be a love story between two women. She was a part of this project as an actor in the beginning, but later decided to be a part of it as a producer.
This film to be produced by Shweta is based on LGBTQIA+. Talking about her decision to join the film as a producer, Shweta Tripathi said, "When the script came to me as an actor, I was instantly drawn to its sensitivity and the way it depicted love in its purest form. As I delved deeper, I realised how important it was for this story to be told the right way. Only then did I decide to be a part of it as a producer."
Shweta further added, "This is not just a film. It is a celebration of love, identity, and the courage to be yourself. As a producer, I now have the creative freedom to tell stories and I couldn't have asked for a better start." Apart from this, Shweta's production slate includes a horror film, a drama, and a psychological thriller.
