Mumbai – The forthcoming Hindi thriller Mission Majhi has just finished filming, concluding a demanding shoot across various spots in India. The last musical number was captured amid the picturesque landscapes of Igatpuri in Maharashtra, paving the way for its much-awaited cinema launch in 2026.
Headlining the project is Mimoh Chakraborty, offspring of legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty, stepping into a demanding character as an ordinary garage mechanic suddenly facing exceptional challenges. Sharing the screen with him is Monika Sharma, celebrated for her standout role in Khuda Haafiz Chapter II: Agni Pariksha, who plays a resolute secret agent in the police force. Their novel pairing is anticipated to infuse the storyline with vibrant dynamism.
The ensemble cast brings added richness to the movie. Sunny Yadav and Neeva Malik take on vital supporting parts, while accomplished performer Anita Raj portrays a Chief Minister, lending weight to the tale's political elements. The fearsome antagonist, the eponymous villain Majhi, is embodied by Jitendra Yadav, who also penned the script and lyrics.
