Mumbai Cyber Cell has sent a show cause notice to the ticket company in connection with rapper Honey Singh's performance in Maharashtra. It is reported that the tickets are available on sale without names printed on them.
Mumbai Cyber Cell had already warned ticket agents against selling in black. Ticket platform Jomate was selling tickets without a name printed on them in advance in advance for a performance by singer Honey Singh, and following this, Mumbai Cyber Cell chief Yashasvi Jaiswal sent a show cause notice and called for a reply.
During the India tour of 'Coldplay Band', an incident of black marketing of tickets for the concert came to light. Due to selling tickets without names written, people bought tickets in bulk and sold them again for more money. Mumbai Cyber Cell has shown strictness regarding this dispute. Also, ticketing platforms BookMyShow and Zomato were instructed to sell tickets by printing the buyer's name on them for big events.
