Prabhas fans got the birthday treat they had been waiting for. The makers of director Hanu Raghavapudi’s period action drama ‘Fauzi’ have released a gripping teaser revealing the Pan-India star’s character, along with a new release date. The film will now hit theatres worldwide on March 19, 2027, after earlier being scheduled for December 3 this year.

Announcing the news on social media, Raghavapudi wrote, “A little late, but the REBEL fever never fades - #HappyRebelsDay. Proudly presenting INDIA’S BIGGEST REBEL SOLDIER - OUR #Fauzi. In Cinemas March 19th 2027. #Prabhas25 #HappyBirthdayPrabhas.”

Inside the Teaser: Netaji, Hitler and a Nameless Spy

The teaser is set in Berlin at the height of World War II, where Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose meets Adolf Hitler to seek Germany’s help against Britain. Hitler refuses, dismissing Indians and calling their struggle a losing battle. Bose hits back, declaring that he will free India from British rule with or without Germany’s support.
