According to PTI, official Jayesh Ranjan said that he did not find any evidence of these allegations. Milla Magee left the competition due to family reasons, especially her mother's illness. She had told the British media that the atmosphere of the competition was not up to her expectations. According to her, the contestants were asked to wear makeup and ball gowns all the time. Miss World CEO Julia Morley rejected these allegations and said that they were false and defamatory. However, Miss World 2025 continues in Hyderabad, the finale will be held on May 31.
The organizers said that Maggie left the competition due to her mother's health and arrangements were made for her return. After this, Miss England's first runner-up Charlotte Grant replaced her. BRS leader in Telangana KT Rama Rao demanded a fair investigation into the matter and said that such an incident is sad, as Telangana has a tradition of respecting women.
24-year-old Mila Maggie reached Hyderabad on May 7. On May 16, Mila Maggie left the pageant midway and returned to the UK. This is the first time in the 74-year history of Miss World that the contestant representing England was suddenly replaced. Mila has been replaced by Miss England runner-up.
