The renowned director Priyadarshan discussed how Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar' series is doing so well. At present, 'Dhurandhar 2' is doing extremely well in theaters and making a lot of money at the box office. However, there have been some complaints that it is propagandistic in nature. Priyadarshan has responded to this as well.

Priyadarshan recently recalled the many difficulties Aditya Dhar faced before making his mark in the industry. He said, "He was very frustrated. But he never told me about it in the beginning. He only spoke about it later, when he started writing for me and working with me."

Recalling how Aditya Dhar found his way, Priyadarshan said, "One day, when we were sitting together in the evening, I asked him how he got into films. He told me that he had been expelled from the Delhi University team and after that, he didn't know what to do." He further explained that a turning point came when Dhar saw one of his films. He then said that he had seen my film 'Gardish' and that it inspired him to get into filmmaking. Priyadarshan also spoke about his experience working with Aditya Dhar. He said, "We worked together in London and Scotland, and he was very easygoing. It felt like I was watching someone grow before my eyes.

Regarding the criticism and alleged accusations of propaganda surrounding Aditya Dhar's "Dhurandhar" franchise starring Ranveer Singh, Priyadarshan said, "There's no such thing as propaganda." He completely rejected the label of "propaganda," saying, "You're simply presenting something to the audience." The producer emphasized that the audience's response is what matters most. He said, "When the entire country has accepted a film, why should the opinions of a few people matter?" Echoing his point, the director said, "Yes. If the majority of India has accepted a film, that in itself proves its importance. The opinions of a few people don't matter; just ignore them."
