Just days after his film ‘Tum Mere Ho’ arrived in theatres, Gurmeet Choudhary has taken fans back to where it all began: Kainchi Dham, the ashram of Neem Karoli Baba in Uttarakhand.
On Sunday, the actor shared photos on Instagram showing the entire team of the film at the dham, posing together with the ‘Tum Mere Ho’ clapboard. “Every new journey feels special when it begins with Baba ka aashirwad,” he wrote, describing the visit with the film’s clap and seeking blessings at Neem Karoli Baba’s feet as “truly a special moment for all of us.”
Gurmeet revealed that the film’s journey started at the dham itself, followed by the muhurat with the whole team. Expressing his hope that Baba’s blessings stay with them and that the team’s hard work pays off, he added that in the end, faith, blessings and the support of one’s own people are all one needs in life. He signed off with “Jai Hanuman, Jai Sita Ram.”
The timing gives the post extra meaning. ‘Tum Mere Ho’ is not just another film for Gurmeet: it marks his debut as a producer under his home banner DebGuru Films, in collaboration with Reva Creative House. The film is produced by Aarti S and Debina Bonnerjee, Gurmeet’s wife, and co-produced by Romanch Mehta and Aman Riyastee. Sharing the moment of blessing now, with the film in cinemas, reads as both gratitude and a personal milestone.
About the Film and Gurmeet’s Journey
Directed by Ashish Panda, ‘Tum Mere Ho’ is an intense love story with action and adventure that pairs Gurmeet with Isha Malviya for the first time. The film marks Isha’s Bollywood debut, with Anushkaa Luhar and Shaan Grover also in the cast. Its music, featuring Mithoon and Vishal Mishra, has been a key part of the film’s buzz, and it released in theatres on October 23, 2026, distributed by PVR Pictures.
For Gurmeet, the spiritual start also echoes the role that first made him a household name. He shot to fame playing Lord Ram in the television series ‘Ramayan’ (2008), and went on to win hearts with shows like ‘Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi’ and ‘Punar Vivaah’. He also won the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ and took part in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, before moving to films such as ‘Khamoshiyan’, ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ and ‘Paltan’, and later to OTT projects. With ‘Tum Mere Ho’, the actor who began as television’s Ram has now stepped into a new role as a producer, and he has made it clear that he began that journey with faith.
