Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ Effect: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhoot Bangla’ Release in Doubt
Ranveer Singh's film "Dhurandhar" is making a strong box office, earning ₹1104 crore worldwide. Its success has led to the postponement of several other films, such as Agastya Nanda's "21" and Kartik and Ananya Pandey's "Tu Meri Main Tera," which flopped. Now, reports suggest that Akshay Kumar is worried about his film's success.
Ranveer Singh's movie, 'Dhurandhar', is at this point reigning at the cinemas. His movie has collected ₹1104 crores and has been doing well at the domestic box office. Almost a month has passed, but it has not impacted it much.
In light of this, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson’s film, “21” by Agastya Nanda, had to be postponed. Another film by Kartik and Ananya Pandey’s Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri also failed. Now it seems that this kind of fear is prevalent everywhere.
Akshay Kumar is set to work with the “Hera Pheri” director Priyadarshan again after 14 years in “Bhoot Bangla,” along with Vamika Gabbi and Paresh Rawal. The movie is scheduled to be released on April 2, 2026. But the latest news is that it may be delayed.
The second part of "Dhurandhar" is reportedly scheduled to release on March 27, 2026. Meanwhile, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Akshay Kumar knows that "Dhurandhar 2" could create box office history, and he doesn't want to be in the middle of this historic moment in Indian cinema. The report further states that Akshay, a savvy businessman, has already seen the fate of the Christmas release "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri." Consequently, he may postpone the release of "Bhoot Bangla."
