Ricky Kej on SRK National Award: Shah Rukh Khan got mixed reactions from people on winning the National Award for the film 'Jawaan'. Now Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej has given his reaction on this matter.

Grammy Award-winning artist and Padma Shri Ricky Kej visited the third day of the Celebrating India Film Festival 2025, being held in Delhi. During this, Kej addressed ANI on various topics. In these, he also discussed Shah Rukh Khan about receiving his first National Award for 'Jawaan'. While doing this, he also discussed his just-released album 'Gandhi Mantra of Compassion'.
Shahrukh's winning the National Award has received mixed reactions from people. Some people have raised questions about Shah Rukh's victory, while many people have justified Shah Rukh's victory. Reacting to this, Ricky Cage recalled Leonardo DiCaprio's first Oscar win for 'The Revenant'. While many felt it was not his best performance, it was a long-awaited honour for his career. Cage said that King Khan has done a lot of great work in his career. He deserved this honour even before 'Jawaan'.
Cage said that the same thing happened with Leonardo DiCaprio when he won the Best Actor award for 'The Revenant'. Many people believe that it was not his best work. But when he won the award for 'The Revenant' everyone was very happy for him because they thought okay, this is Leonardo DiCaprio's year. He is a great actor and he deserves it. I believe the same thing about Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh has done great work before. I am very happy for him.
During this, Cage also talked about his new project, 'Gandhi Mantra of Compassion' made in collaboration with Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi. He also said that a music video from this album is being shown at the ongoing Celebrating India Film Festival. He said that this is an album that I have made in collaboration with Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi, who is like an elder brother to me.
This album is about the principles and ideals of non-violence and peace taught by Mahatma Gandhi. These ideals are needed today more than ever as we are living in a world full of division, hatred, trolling, and unrest. I believe that Gandhi's ideals can help this earth, and all these ideals have come from India.
