Shivangi Joshi informed that she was offered a major role in a popular web series and later withdrew from it at the last minute. She shared, "I had cleared several rounds of auditions and everything was set. Just before the series started, I was told that I was being replaced." She said that she was replaced by a star kid in that series.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Shivani said, “I was considered for another stage and I had auditions. They liked my performance and everything was set. Suddenly at the last minute, I got to know that someone else was doing this project. When I asked when did this happen? I was told that the one who has been offered your role is a celeb's daughter. If you want, you can play the role of her friend."
Even though Shivani did not take any name, fans are speculating that the web series the actress is talking about is Heeramandi. Coming in support of Shivani, a fan wrote, “So she was offered the role of Alamzeb in Heeramandi, we all have seen her pictures from the auditions. It would have been a game-changer for her. If Shivi played Alamzeb's character, it would have been a different matter, but nepotism is at play here."
