Veteran Actress Himani Shivpuri Opens Up About Ranbir Kapoor’s Respectful Nature

Renowned Bollywood actress Himani Shivpuri often shares many wonderful stories from the world of Bollywood. Recently, the actress shared an anecdote about the actor Ranbir Kapoor. The actress shared a photo of herself with actor Ranbir Kapoor on Instagram.

Himani Shivpuri, who has worked in over 100 films, described her meeting with Ranbir Kapoor as memorable. Sharing the photo with Ranbir, Himani Shivpuri wrote on Instagram, "It was so nice to meet Ranbir! Such a friendly, humble, and talented actor! He stood up, touched my feet, and complimented me, saying, 'Madam, you look exactly like him! Wow, Ranbir's charm and his manners!" Ranbir Kapoor reminded me of the days of "Aa Ab Laut Chalen." He was studying in the US at the time and would visit the set. Chintuji would ask him to go see plays with me.

Himani Shivpuri further wrote, "On my first trip to the US, in addition to shopping, I also saw Broadway shows. Amazing outdoor shows, Ranbir's wonderful hospitality. We saw "Cats," "Phantom of the Opera," "Sound of Music," and many more shows with Satish Kaushik, Paresh Rawal, Saroj Khan, and sometimes Ash. Wow, what a time it was!"

It is pertinent to mention that "Aa Ab Laut Chalen" (1999), directed by Rishi Kapoor, was an average box office hit. The audience liked the songs and story of this film. The sizzling chemistry between Aishwarya Rai and Akshaye Khanna is still remembered. Himani Shivpuri played the role of "Nikki" in this film.
