Wamiqa told ANI that she does not take the pressure of airport-look at all. The actress said, 'I do not take the pressure of airport-look. I get ready for myself. Earlier I used to think that good clothes were only for good days, but life is too short. I dress up for myself. I can dress up every day if I want. There is no such pressure, no one should take the pressure. This is nonsense.'
On Wednesday, Vamika walked as a showstopper for renowned designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla on the first day of 'India Couture Week 2024' at Taj Palace in Delhi. Vamika opened the show in an ivory trail lehenga from the 'Botanical Bloom' line, which had silk embroidery with ivory silk thread, highlighted with pearls and crystals. At the same time, she closed the show as a royal bride in a red lehenga from the 'Bridal Gota' collection, which was handmade with gota and zardozi and decorated with crystals.
Interestingly, with this show, Vamika has made her runway debut. On her first ramp walk, Vamika said, 'I never thought that my first ramp walk would be for Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. It was like a dream. I was scared before walking the ramp, but once I came on stage, everything was fine.' Talking about Vamika's work front, she will be seen in 'Baby John' opposite Varun Dhawan. The film is scheduled to release in December 2024.
