The shooting of Ranveer Singh's action movie 'Dhurandhar' is in full swing these days in the Leh district of Ladakh. But on Sunday, August 17, news is coming to the forefront that nearly 120 individuals present on set got ill at the same time. During preliminary investigation, it has come to light that this could be a case of food poisoning. But more details are yet to emerge.

The accident occurred in the Patthar Sahib region of Leh, where the crew of the film was filming a crucial sequence. Amidst the filming, the entire crew was being served food by the local caterer. It is learnt that nearly 600 individuals consumed food, of which 120 individuals fell seriously ill. All of them were immediately given first aid after complaining of vomiting, dizziness, and stomach pain.

As soon as the incident was reported, the team of Leh Police, District Administration, and Food Safety Department reached the spot. The officials immediately collected food samples and sent them for testing, and an interrogation of the contractor supplying the food has been started. The administration says that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against the culprits.

Actor Ranveer Singh was also present on the spot at the time of this incident. According to sources, he did not eat the food served on the set, due to which he was not affected by this food poisoning. Other stars associated with the film, like Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Akshay Khanna were not on the spot for shooting at the moment and are safe. Despite this, the shooting of the film has been postponed for the time being.

Dhurandhar is a high-octane spy thriller directed by 'Uri' fame director Aditya Dhar. In the film, Ranveer Singh plays the role of a spy who will be seen grappling with political conspiracies, the security of the country, and his personal struggles. In the recently released teaser, Ranveer was seen in a brutal and raw avatar, which further increased the curiosity of the audience about the film.

The makers were planning to release 'Dhurandhar' in theaters on 5 December 2025, but now with the shooting stopped and the administrative investigation started, the film's scheduled schedule is in danger.
