Akshay Kumar’s Horror Comedy ‘Bhoot Bangla’ Faces Release Date Change

Akshay Kumar is making the headlines with a couple of his upcoming ventures. He recently launched the teaser of his forthcoming film "Welcome to the Jungle." Now, a huge update has come up regarding his other upcoming film "Bhoot Bangla." The new date of its release has been announced.

A new release date has been announced for Akshay Kumar's upcoming horror comedy film "Bhoot Bangla." The film will now be released in theaters on May 15, 2026. Balaji Motion Pictures released a poster on Instagram. In the poster, Akshay Kumar is seen sitting on a mound with a lantern. The poster reads 15-05-2026. The caption reads, "News from the bungalow." Doors open on May 15, 2026. See you in theaters.

The film's producers had previously announced a release date of April 2, 2026. However, it has now been confirmed that the film will be released in theaters a month later. It is reported that due to "Dhurandhar 2," the makers have decided to postpone the film's release date. "Dhurandhar 2" will be released on March 19th this year.

Akshay Kumar's film "Bhoot Bangla" is being directed by Priyadarshan. It stars Akshay Kumar alongside Vamika Gabbi, Tabu, and Paresh Rawal. Akshay and Tabu are reuniting in "Bhoot Bangla" after 25 years.

Shobha Kapoor and Ekta R. Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, in association with Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films, are producing "Bhoot Bangla." The story is written by Akash A. Kaushik. Rohan Shankar has written the dialogues, and Abhilash Nair and Priyadarshan have written the screenplay. The film also stars the late actor Asrani.
