Ashok Pandit surrounded Naseeruddin Shah for supporting Diljit, said- 'They call us goons'
Diljit Dosanjh, Sardaar Ji 3 Controversy: In the case of Diljit Dosanjh, now it seems that the Bollywood industry is divided into two parts. On one hand, while some people are supporting Diljit, on the other hand, some people are opposing him. Now Ashok Pandit has criticized Naseeruddin Shah for supporting him.

The controversy about Diljit Dosanjh's new movie 'Sardarji 3' released recently, is not ceasing. The film has been released in the rest of the world, excluding India but for being in it with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, Diljit has been criticized relentlessly in India. But Diljit has also been receiving support from various celebrities in the process. Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has also supported Diljit in this list. Now filmmaker Ashok Pandit has criticized Naseeruddin Shah for supporting Diljit. Also, he has attacked Diljit once again.
Criticising Naseeruddin Shah for supporting Diljit, Ashok Pandit told ANI, “We are not surprised by Naseeruddin Shah's reaction on the Diljit Dosanjh issue. He calls us Jumla Party, he calls us goons. An educated, talented and senior person in the industry calls us goons. This shows Naseeruddin Shah's frustration and restlessness. Naseeruddin Shah says that Diljit was not responsible for the casting. I would like to tell Naseeruddin Shah that he was an actor. He could have refused to work with Pakistani artists.”
Calling Pakistan a terrorist nation, Ashok Pandit addressed Naseeruddin Shah and said, “Naseeruddin Shah, Pakistan has been attacking India for the last 50 years. They have killed people, raped people, massacred people in our country. This is not just about Pahalgam. This is the most recent attack. Before this, Pulwama, Uri, Mumbai blasts, 26/11, there have been many such attacks for which Pakistan is responsible. Pakistan is a terrorist nation. For us, our country comes first. So our reaction to the whole episode, our reaction to the entire film 'Sardar Ji 3' is right according to us. Let me tell you Naseeruddin sahab, we have decided to issue a non-cooperation strike against Diljit.”
A day earlier on June 30, Naseeruddin Shah had supported Diljit through a Facebook post. In his post, he had written, “I stand firmly with Diljit. The dirty department of the Jumla Party has been looking for an opportunity to attack him. They think they have finally got their chance. He was not responsible for the casting of the film, the director was. No one knows who he is, while the whole world knows Diljit and he agreed to be cast because he is not out of his mind.
These goons want to destroy personal contact between the people of India and Pakistan. I have close relatives and some dear friends there and no one can stop me from meeting them or sending them love whenever I feel like it. To those who say go to Pakistan, the answer is go to Kailasa.”
