Beyoncé has made history by being the first black woman to win a Grammy in the country music category in 50 years. She won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for collaborating with Miley Cyrus on the song "II Most Wanted". Beyoncé entered the 2025 Grammy Awards evening with 11 nominations, including nods for Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter.
Her hit song 'Texas Hold 'Em' was also nominated in several categories, such as Best Country Song, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. Her country win is a record-breaker, a 50-year wait, and places Beyoncé in first, becoming the first Black female artist to win a country Grammy.
