Idris Elba wishes next James Bond film success while distancing himself from casting speculation

During an event, Elba also put an end to these rumors. Speaking to People magazine, he said, "I'm not part of any such film. The team is searching for young actors. I wish the project all the best. I'm eagerly awaiting this film."

There has been much speculation surrounding this film, based on Ian Fleming's novel. Regarding this, Idris said, "To be honest, I was never in the running. We're all actors, and we understand that this role is one of those iconic roles that everyone wants to play. It's like being named the world's most perfect man."
