Actor Allu Arjun virtually attended the court proceedings from Mumbai in relation to the stampede case in connection with the movie "Pushpa 2: The Rule" in front of the Nampally Court. The proceeding had to be postponed to July 29 as several others involved in the case couldn't attend the court. The stampede incident took place during the screening of "Pushpa 2."

According to news agency ANI, actor Allu Arjun appeared virtually before the Nampally Court on Monday in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. His legal team provided this information. According to the actor's legal team, the remaining two accused in the case were not present and will file a petition for absence. The hearing has been postponed until July 29. The stampede occurred on December 4, 2024, during a special screening of "Pushpa 2" at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.

Actor Allu Arjun is among those charged in the case. Police have named the actor as the 11th accused in the case. The Nampally court has issued summons to 19 accused, and the police have filed a charge sheet against 23 people in connection with the incident. One woman died in the stampede, while her son sustained serious injuries. The woman was identified as Revathi.

The stampede occurred when a large crowd gathered outside the theatre to catch a glimpse of the actor during the film's premiere. When Allu Arjun greeted fans from the sunroof of his car, the situation escalated. Tragically, Revathi died during the chaos, and her son, Teja, was seriously injured. Teja was hospitalized. Arjun also provided financial assistance to the victim's family. His father, film producer Allu Arvind, announced a donation of ₹2 crore (20 million rupees) to the family of Revathi, who lost her life in the incident.
