The major artists are advertising “Peddi.” A marketing event was organized in Chennai. During this marketing event, actor Shiva Rajkumar narrated an emotional incident to his fans regarding how he became a part of the movie. “Peddi” is a very special film for him.
At the Chennai event, Shiva Rajkumar said, "The team of the film "Peddi" just wanted to do this movie with me. When Buchi Babu told me the story, I loved the subject. I also spoke to Ram Charan that day." Then, unfortunately, I was diagnosed with cancer and had to go to the US for treatment.
Shiva further adds, "I thought about leaving the film, but Buchi Babu said he wanted to see me in the film. It was very nice of him, and he waited for me for a long time." Shiva Rajkumar thanked the director for this.
Ram Charan also praised Shiva at the event. Shiva has a cameo in the film. Ram Charan spoke about a scene he still remembers. Shiva's presence made that scene memorable. He says, "When Shiva gets into the car and that slow-motion shot of the cigarette plays, that scene becomes iconic. His eyes really say a lot."
Ram Charan's film "Peddi" is releasing in theaters on June 4th. The film also stars Divyendu Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor, along with Bollywood actors like Boman Irani. This film was directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
