Pawan Kalyan, deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and leader of Jana Sena Party, was discharged from the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. He underwent an operation on his right shoulder four days ago. His doctors confirmed that he is recuperating well and is now fit to be discharged from the hospital. After being discharged, he returned to his residence in Hyderabad for further recovery.
Following the discharge, his wife, Anna Konidela, shared photos and expressed her gratitude to the doctors and medical staff who treated Pawan Kalyan. Sharing the images on Instagram, she wrote, "Today, we have finally been discharged from the hospital, and our hearts are filled with gratitude.
A heartfelt thank you to this wonderful team for taking such excellent care of my husband and performing his surgery with great skill and professionalism. We knew he was in the best hands, and this gave our family something invaluable: peace of mind.

Pawan Kalyan had been admitted to the hospital last Saturday after doctors recommended surgery due to a severe injury (tear) in the rotator cuff muscle of his right shoulder.
The surgery, which lasted approximately three and a half hours, was performed by a team led by renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala. Doctors have advised the Jana Sena Party chief to observe complete bed rest for the next three weeks before commencing physiotherapy.
The medical team expects that if he follows the prescribed rehabilitation plan and avoids putting strain on the shoulder, it will regain its normal strength and functionality in about four months.
