Ranbir Kapoor Buys ₹16.42 Crore Land in Pune: Actor Expands Real Estate Portfolio Ahead of 'Ramayana' Release
Ranbir Kapoor: Ahead of the release of his upcoming films 'Ramayana' and 'Love & War', Ranbir Kapoor has been actively investing in real estate. A few months ago, he purchased land in Ayodhya; now, he has bought plots in Pune.
Popular actor Ranbir Kapoor has been making headlines for his upcoming film 'Ramayana' which could release this year. Besides, he has also gained fame due to the purchase of property in Pune. According to reports, he has just purchased some land in the village of Mulshi Taluka, located close to Pune city.
In recent times, he made an investment in a luxurious project in Ayodhya, and now he has further extended his real estate portfolio by purchasing land in Pune. He has purchased 25.7 acre of land in Mulshi Taluka, Pune, worth ₹16.42 crore.
Ranbir Kapoor has purchased not just one or two, but four plots in Pune. The deal, registered on April 30, 2026, comprises four contiguous land parcels in Pimpri village. According to documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the largest parcel-measuring 43,800 square meters-was purchased for ₹7.07 crore. A second plot of 29,900 square meters was bought for ₹4.62 crore, while another plot measuring 21,400 square meters was acquired for ₹3.31 crore. The fourth and smallest parcel, measuring 8,900 square meters, was purchased for ₹1.39 crore.
Registration documents also indicate that a stamp duty of ₹82.13 lakh was paid on this transaction. This marks Ranbir's second major land investment in recent months. In May 2026, he purchased a plot of land in Ayodhya for approximately ₹3.31 crore. On the work front, Ranbir's film 'Ramayana: Part 1' is set to release this Diwali; he will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram in the movie. Additionally, Ranbir will appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Love & War'.
