Priyanka Chopra Jonas Opens Up on Raising Daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in a Multicultural Family

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is an internationally renowned personality who is married to Nick Jonas, an American singer. The two have a daughter called Malti. In recent times, Priyanka expressed her opinion about bringing up a girl in a culturally diverse environment.

Speaking to Vogue Arabia, Priyanka explained that she is raising her daughter, Malti, in a multicultural family. Both Indian traditions and American culture coexist at home. She said that she wants to raise her daughter connected to both cultures while maintaining her Indian heritage.

Priyanka said, "I am an actress. I try my best to use my platform to portray Indian culture in the right way." I love India very much and am completely Indian in many ways, including food. But we should also understand that our family, along with Nick's, is American. We live in America.

Priyanka and Nick married in December 2018 at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace. The wedding included both Hindu and Christian rituals. The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti, in January 2022. Priyanka further explained that Nick Jonas deeply loves and respects India. Nick always participates in Priyanka's prayers and religious ceremonies. The couple believes that every festival, whether it's Holi or Thanksgiving, should be celebrated with full devotion.

Priyanka will soon be seen in the second season of the Amazon Prime series "Citadel." She will also be seen in director SS Rajamouli's film "Varanasi," which also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film will be released in theaters on April 7, 2027.
