Anupamaa: Gas Trap at Café Leaves Hasmuk Critical

MUMBAI — The latest episode of Star Plus's long-running daily drama Anupamaa, produced by Deepa Shahi and Rajan Shahi under Director's Kut Productions, delivered one of its most tension-filled sequences yet — a deliberate gas-trap attack at Saavi's café that leaves senior character Hasmuk fighting for his life and once again puts the protagonist at the centre of a dangerous conspiracy.

The episode opens with Anupama gripped by an inexplicable sense of dread late at night. Unable to sleep, she turns to prayer, specifically seeking the safety of Saavi's café — a venture she holds close to her heart as Anuj's dream project. Unknown to her, the danger she fears is already being set in motion.

Meanwhile, Hasmuk steps out for an evening walk, choosing to forgo a heavy meal for health reasons. Noticing the café door unusually ajar, he enters to investigate — calling out for Anupama and Anku. The two cross paths inside under circumstances neither anticipated. What follows quickly turns sinister: a hired operative working on Gautam's orders stealthily severs the kitchen's gas pipe and locks both of them inside from the outside.
