Gauri began her career in this industry with the renovation of her home 'Mannat', where she understood the importance of embellishing houses and turning them into beautiful places. In a recent interaction with ANI, Gauri Khan advised new interior designers to not lose their individuality and said, "Stay true to your ideas and work and don't get lost in new trends. Good design is forever, it is timeless. Your individuality is your biggest strength." Gauri was in Delhi for the launch of her first Gauri Khan Design Experience Centre.
Gauri also spoke about the important factors that she keeps in mind before starting any project. She said, "I would say the first thing is to understand what the client wants, what is their story and what is their lifestyle. I think every project should feel authentic to the people living in it."
Revealing the reason behind creating this centre, Gauri said that the idea was to create something that could completely impress you. I wanted it to feel like a home where you can walk, touch, feel and experience Gauri Khan Design. Every piece, every corner, is designed to evoke emotions and inspire the imagination.
