Dhurandhar Shares Operational Details of Armed Forces: The 'Dhurandhar' film franchise has always been embroiled in controversy. Recently, a serious allegation has been leveled against the film. The film has been accused of endangering the security of the Indian Armed Forces.
'Dhurandhar 2' has been accused of violating the Official Secrets Act. The Delhi High Court ordered the Central Government and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to investigate the matter on Wednesday.
A public interest litigation was filed by Deepak Kumar, Head Constable of the Border Security Force, regarding 'Dhurandhar 2'. It alleged that the film shared secret operational information of the Indian Armed Forces, which could pose a threat to national security.
According to the petitioner, 'Dhurandhar 2' clearly depicts several locations. Additionally, information related to several senior officers and deceased soldiers has been clearly shown. This is not good for the security of the country. The petition also stated that the film also mentions a drug developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation.
