There is a detail that makes Sharvari's "full-circle" remark more than a figure of speech. The two songs she named come from Sooraj Barjatya's own films. 'Didi Tera Devar Deewana' is from Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, and 'Maiyya Yashoda' is from Hum Saath-Saath Hain.

About Yeh Prem Mol Liya

Yeh Prem Mol Liya stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, with music by Himesh Reshammiya. It is produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films.

Ayushmann plays Prem, a name long linked with Barjatya's films. Salman Khan played Prem in Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath-Saath Hain and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, while Shahid Kapoor played a character of the same name in Vivah. The film marks Ayushmann's first collaboration with Barjatya and the first on-screen pairing of Ayushmann and Sharvari.

According to reports, the story follows a relationship that begins as friendship and gradually turns into romance, set against a clash between modern ideas of love and the traditional values of a joint family.

The film also stars Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa and Saumya Tandon.

The Title Track Sets the Tone

The makers released the title track on September 20. It is sung by Himesh Reshammiya, Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro. The film also reunites Barjatya with Reshammiya, who last worked together on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Given Sharvari's love for song-driven storytelling, a Barjatya–Reshammiya musical seems a natural fit.

Barjatya's Return

The film marks Barjatya's return to direction after Uunchai, which won him the National Award for Best Director. It also arrives in a market dominated by action, horror-comedies and historical epics, positioning itself as a wholesome family entertainer.

What Comes Next

Yeh Prem Mol Liya is set to release in theatres on November 27, 2026, in the post-Diwali window. With the title track out and promotions picking up, more songs from the album are likely to lead the film's campaign.
