The Censor Board granted permission to release the movie in India by making three amendments to the movie. Despite these amendments, the gloomy storyline and the action sequences of Peter Parker will remain the same.
Point to remember: Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in Indian cinemas this Thursday. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) cleared the film for the UA 13+ rating with a few amendments. Three amendments were mandated by the Censor Board to the film.
According to the Censor Board, the makers have been instructed to remove a romantic kissing scene, mute or remove offensive language and words from the English audio and subtitle tracks, and display a health warning against alcohol during scenes depicting alcohol consumption. With these changes, the film has been approved for theatrical release on July 30th. No major changes have been made to its story or action sequences.
