Jasmin Bhasin: I’m Very Greedy When It Comes to Acting

Mumbai: Actress Jasmin Bhasin, currently appearing on the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi and preparing for the release of her upcoming Punjabi film Judaa, has said she remains “very greedy” when it comes to acting because it is her greatest passion.

Speaking about balancing different mediums and languages, Bhasin said: “I’ve always said that I’m very greedy when it comes to acting because it’s my biggest love and my greatest passion. No matter which medium comes my way, I always want to explore it and give it my all.”

She added that she feels happy and grateful to be working across languages and platforms while connecting with diverse audiences. “At the same time, it’s hectic but there are absolutely no complaints. I want every day to have a new challenge for me.”

Khatron Ke Khiladi, based on the American series Fear Factor, first aired in India in 2008. The current season, hosted by Rohit Shetty and filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, carries a theme that places newcomers against more experienced contestants. The lineup includes Rubina Dilaik, Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Wahi, Avinash Mishra, Rithvik Dhanjani, Gaurav Khanna, Avika Gor, Farrhana Bhatt, Harsh Gujral, Vishal Aditya Singh, Orry, Shagun Sharma and Ruhaanika Dhawan.

On the film front, Bhasin stars in Judaa, a Punjabi romantic drama that also features singer Gulab Sidhu in his acting debut. The story follows two lovers separated by fate, time and misunderstandings. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on August 21.

Bhasin’s comments reflect her willingness to move between high-intensity reality television and regional cinema while maintaining a focus on continuous exploration of her craft. With Khatron Ke Khiladi currently on air and Judaa approaching its theatrical release, she is navigating two distinct professional commitments in quick succession.
