Renukaswamy Murder Case: Darshan Seeks Permission to File Fresh Bail Plea Citing Trial Delay
Renukaswamy Case: Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has once again approached the Supreme Court regarding the Renukaswamy kidnapping and murder case. Here is the full story.
The accused, Darshan Thoogudeepa, has approached the court seeking permission to file his fresh bail application in relation to Renukaswamy kidnapping and murder case. According to Darshan, the trial in his case is taking too much time, and thus he deserves another chance to file a bail plea.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had refused his bail plea on May 15. However, the court had further said that if there is no major progress in the trial in one year, then he can again approach the court for bail application.
In his current bail plea, Darshan has asked the court not to consider his earlier order as a restriction against filing a fresh bail plea before the expiry of one year. In fact, he has pleaded that if there is any change in circumstances or a delay in the trial, then he deserves another chance to seek bail.
