It is not known whether Vijay Thalapathy, who has become a politician, and his TVK party leader would become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. There have been some allegations from the AMMK party leader TTV Dhinakaran towards Vijay. He claimed that Vijay forged a letter of support to the Governor, which he would be suing for. Due to this allegation, there cannot be any government formation from Vijay’s side. In the meantime, Vijay’s bodyguard dropped a surprising statement for his fans.
Thalapathy Vijay's bodyguard, Arun Suresh, shared two posts on his Instagram story section late Friday night. Vijay's name was not mentioned in the post, but the post appears to be for him. The bodyguard wrote in the post, "Good results come only after difficult battles." He further wrote, "Be confident, everything will be fine."

Vijay entered Tamil Nadu politics in 2024. When he formed a party, he considered reaching out to the common people. On September 27, 2025, TVK organized a rally in Karur, Tamil Nadu. However, a major accident occurred at this rally. A stampede broke out during the rally, resulting in the deaths of several people. Vijay expressed his deep condolences on social media and announced a compensation of ₹20 lakh each for the deceased and ₹2 lakh each for the injured.
A complaint was also filed against Vijay regarding the stampede at the Karur rally. Following the incident, police filed a case against the TVK district secretary and other organizers on charges of murder and negligence. Vijay was mentioned in the FIR, but he was not initially named as a direct accused. The investigation was later transferred to the CBI, who also questioned him in Delhi.
Vijay has certainly become a political icon in Tamil Nadu, but his last film, "Jana Nayakan," has yet to be released. The film was scheduled for release earlier this year but remains stalled. Previously, Vijay Thalapathy's film, "Jana Nayakan," awaited censor clearance, and the case even reached court. Recently, it was leaked online. The film has faced periodic protests for various reasons.
