Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar is once again in the headlines for his transformation. The reason behind this change of plans, however, would be the upcoming thriller “Haiwan” by the filmmaker Priyadarshan, which would see Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan sharing the screen together in a cinematic experience of this genre for the first time ever! There have been revelations of a look at Akshay Kumar in the film that leaked online, which went viral on social media sites.
Audiences have known and been familiar with the combination of Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar as far as comedy movies are concerned. Films like "Hera Pheri," "Garam Masala," and "Bhagam Bhaag" have created this memory. However, in "Haivan," this appears to have undergone a complete change. In this movie, audiences will see none of the comically portrayed characters, nor any light characters, but just serious characters in the form of Akshay.
In the photo that surfaced on social media, Akshay Kumar's look appears extremely rugged and intense. A thick beard and moustache, a half-tied ponytail, and a leather jacket all combine to make his character appear intimidating and imposing. Fans believe that this look is not that of an ordinary character, but rather of a man whose intentions will be difficult to decipher. Following the release of the photo, the comments section was flooded with reactions.
According to reports, "Haiwaan" is an action-thriller film, with a story revolving around suspense and psychological conflict. It is reported that the film is inspired by a popular 2016 South Indian film and will be reimagined for Hindi audiences. This time, Akshay Kumar may be seen in a negative or gray-shaded character, which is no less than a major surprise for his fans.
Saif Ali Khan will also be seen in a key role in the film. Saif has already garnered praise for his intense performances in films like Omkara, Laal Kaptaan, and Vikram Vedha. Therefore, the on-screen confrontation between Akshay and Saif could be the film's biggest strength.
'Haiwaan' is being produced on a grand scale and is scheduled to be released in theaters in 2026. Samuthirakani, Saiyami Kher, Shreya Pilgaonkar, Asrani, and others will also be seen in key roles. Currently, the leaked look alone has generated tremendous buzz for the film. It's certain that Akshay Kumar's new avatar in 'Haiwaan' will be something different, scary, and memorable for audiences.
