Recalling the day she received the news of her casting, Medha said, "I went through several auditions, at least two or three in the first round. After that, I was called to meet with renowned casting director Mukesh Chhabra and our director, Anurag Sir." During that meeting, both of them congratulated me and told me I had been selected for the film. I still remember that day vividly. When I went to meet them, I could hardly believe it. I became very emotional and started crying in front of them because it all seemed unreal.
Reflecting on herself, the actress said, "I come from a military family. Three generations of my family have served in the army. It's a huge thing for our family that I had the opportunity to play a role in such a project. This film means a lot to me. It's the biggest honor of my life. I will always be grateful." Regarding her experience of sharing the screen with Varun Dhawan, Medha Rana said, "Varun is a very sweet, kind, and supportive co-star. I remember being very nervous and scared when I first went on set. But he made sure I felt comfortable."
