‘I Want Her to Understand Cinema’: Ahan Shetty on Niece Evara Watching Border 2

Ahan Shetty is in news for his recently released film, ‘Border 2’. Ahan plays the role of a naval officer Mahendra S. Rawat in the film. The film is doing well at the box office. Ahan's performance in the film is being appreciated. During the film's success, Ahan expressed his wish for a special person to watch the film.

In a conversation with Zoom, Ahan Shetty expressed his wish for his niece, Evara, to watch 'Border 2'. He explained that Evara would like to see her uncle perform in the movie, as she is related to him. Athiya and Rahul would like her to see her grandfather's films, some of his own, and his work. She will want to see her loved ones. So, I want her to see 'Border 2' when she's old enough to understand cinema.

Evara is Ahan Shetty's sister and the daughter of Sunil Shetty and Athiya Shetty, daughter of Indian cricketer KL Rahul. She will turn one in March. Athiya herself has worked in films, having been part of films like 'Hero' and 'Mubarakan'. However, Athiya quit acting a few years ago. This was her voluntary decision, which was confirmed by her superstar father Sunil Shetty.

During the conversation, Ahan further revealed that his father Sunil Shetty has decided not to see 'Border 2' until it achieves a certain box office success. Although he was present at the premiere to cheer him on, he didn't stay to watch the film with the rest of the film industry and the cast. His mother, Mana, and brother-in-law, KL Rahul, were emotional after watching 'Border 2'. Athiya, however, booked her own ticket and saw the film alone last Sunday.
