Instead of Aamir Khan, now this actor will play the role of Ujjwal Nikam in Dinesh's biopic

A biopic based on renowned government attorney Ujjwal Nikam is going to be produced, which is to be directed by Dinesh Vijan. Aamir Khan was shortlisted earlier to portray this character, but he has refused to act in this film outright, after which now this Bollywood actor will be seen portraying the character of Ujjwal. This film will be a thriller court drama.

According to a news from OTT Play, Dinesh Vijan is making a biopic of famous government lawyer Ujjwal Nikam. It is reported that Rajkumar Rao can play the role of Ujjwal in this film, as Aamir Khan has decided to back out from this character. Earlier Aamir was going to act in this film, but now he will be associated only as a producer.

Actually, Dinesh Vijan wants Rajkumar to play the character of Ujjwal Nikam, because he will fit in this role. Talks have been held with Rajkumar regarding the film, but at the moment he is busy preparing for Vikramaditya Motwani's film, in which he will play the character of a player.

Ujjwal Nikam is a famous public prosecutor of India. He prosecuted in big cases like 1993 Bombay bomb blasts, 2008 Mumbai attacks, Pramod Mahajan murder, Gulshan Kumar murder, 2013 Mumbai gang rape and 2016 Kopardi rape. In 2016, the Government of India honored him with Padma Shri.

Rajkumar Rao will soon be seen in the film Bhool Chook Maaf, which will be released on May 9. It is a romantic comedy, in which he will play the character of a groom named Ranjan, who gets trapped in a time loop before his marriage. The film is directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan in association with Amazon MGM Studios.
