The actress replied, "No one is giving me a National Award anymore." She has already won five National Awards and holds the record for winning the most National Awards in the acting category.
Shabana Azmi, speaking to Variety India about her upcoming film, said, "We finished shooting the film a long time ago. Thankfully, it's finally releasing. There are many firsts for me in this project. I've never worked with Rajkumar Santoshi or Aamir Khan, who are producing the film. This is my first time working with Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta. It's a lot of fun working with them."
