The court made this remark while hearing the writ petition of the actor seeking security for the release of the film 'Thug Life' in Karnataka and adjourned the hearing till June 10. In such a situation, the film will not be able to release in Karnataka till June 10. The film was earlier scheduled to release on June 5.
According to the report of Live Law, Kamal Haasan agreed to stop the release of 'Thug Life' in Karnataka. The High Court has taken this decision after Kamal Haasan's comment was accused of hurting the sentiments of the Kannada community.
