Lakshmi Manchu recently attended an interview with Pooja Talwar. Here, she reacted to the betting app cases going on against her. She said, "You know, this is an ED meeting. I find it very strange that our government would go after that person. I think, brother look who started it." She further said, "I was very upset because people say anything, what we did is something else. Poor guys, they are really investigating where the money is going. 100 other celebrities do this. ED is currently investigating the case of illegally raising money through online betting. Apart from Lakshmi Manchu, many celebrities like Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, and Vijay Deverakonda came under investigation in this case. According to ED sources, these celebrities were suspected of supporting online betting apps like Junglee Rummy, Jeetwin, and Lotus365. However, many actors also promoted these apps. According to sources, illegal money worth crores of rupees has been obtained through illegal betting and gambling on the betting platform. The investigation is still going on.
