Speaking on his career trajectory and the evolving landscape of Desi hip-hop, Paradox highlighted the necessity of adapting as both a creator and a professional in an increasingly commercialized market.
"In any phase of life, wherever you go, you learn new things and you evolve by time," Paradox stated regarding his transition to Squad Boss. "Our focus in this industry is music—and music as a business, an art form, or just an expression, we have learned a lot of new things. We are trying to give our best in all aspects."
From Breakout Contestant to Mentorship
Paradox’s ascent mirrors the rapid commercial expansion of Indian hip-hop over the past four years. After securing the runner-up spot in MTV Hustle 2.0 in 2022, his versatile flows and energetic stage presence established him as one of the genre’s most recognizable young voices.Returning to the show in a leadership capacity alongside fellow Season 2 winner MC Square, franchise veteran EPR, and rap artist Agsy, Paradox now offers real-time strategic guidance to aspiring artists navigating high-stakes weekly competitions.
The fifth season, centered around the theme "Apna Homeground," spotlights the regional roots, local dialects, and personal backgrounds of emerging rap talent across India.Leading the panel once again is flagship judge Badshah, serving as 'Rap Supremo'.

Navigating Hip-Hop as an Industry
The inclusion of former contestants like Paradox and MC Square as mentors reflects a broader shift within the Indian music ecosystem. Independent rap artists are increasingly required to manage songwriting, digital distribution, brand partnerships, and commercial positioning alongside live performance.
By providing contestants with insights gained from both sides of the judging panel, mentors on MTV Hustle 5 aim to equip emerging artists with the technical discipline and industry awareness needed to sustain long-term careers beyond the reality television stage.
