On Friday, Akshay Kumar's lawyer spoke openly about initiating legal proceedings against Paresh Rawal. Pooja Tidarke, joint managing partner of Parinam Law Associates, told PTI, "I think it will have serious legal consequences. It will definitely harm the franchise. Expenses have been made on the cast, crew, actors, and shooting of the trailer."

It was said on behalf of Akshay Kumar that Paresh Rawal was given Rs 11 lakh before working in the film. Yesterday, Bollywood Hungama reported that actor Paresh Rawal had received Rs 11 lakh as a signing amount for 'Hera Pheri 3', which he has returned along with 15 percent interest per annum.

When Paresh Rawal announced to leave the film 'Hera Pheri 3', Akshay Kumar's company 'Cape of Good Films' filed a case of Rs 25 crore against Paresh Rawal. It was said that the filmmakers had suffered a lot due to the sudden decision to leave the film.
