“Pitch to Get Rich”: JioHotstar Launches India’s First Fashion-Focused Reality Show

JioHotstar is all set to break new fashion ground with Pitch to Get Rich, India’s first reality series entirely focused on fashion entrepreneurship. The show will premiere on October 20, and its purpose is to bring the country’s growing fashion sector into the limelight of mainstream entertainment.

Produced by the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF) in collaboration with Dharmatic Entertainment, Pitch to Get Rich features 14 emerging fashion founders who will present their ideas, compete for money and mentorship, tackle real-world business challenges, and vie for mentorship and funding. A total investment pool of ₹40 crore has been earmarked for the competition.

The show boasts a star-studded panel of judges and mentors, combining names from both the entertainment and business sectors. Among them are Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, and Malaika Arora, as well as industry and corporate leaders such as Naveen Jindal, Dhruv Sharma, Ravi Jaipuria, Darpan Sanghvi, Gaurav Dalmia, Vagish Pathak, and Vinod Dugar.

The show showcases India's creative potential and is "not just entertainment but a catalyst that brings fashion, business, and creativity together," according to Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharmatic Entertainment. The Fashion Entrepreneur Fund's founder, Sanjay Nigam, went on to say that the initiative is "about supporting 'Make in India' and giving real business opportunities to fashion talent."
