Priyadarshan preparing for retirement after 'Haiwaan'-'Hera Pheri 3' and this film, said- 'I am tired'

Priyadarshan is the renowned producer-director of the industry. At present, he is in the limelight for his next films Haiwaan and Hera Pheri 3. Priyadarshan is now planning to retire from film direction. Recently, while giving an interview, he himself spoke about such a wish. He has announced his intention to retire from direction after finishing 'Haiwaan' and 'Hera Pheri 3'.

Director Priyadarshan has started shooting for the film 'Haiwaan'. It is currently being filmed in Kochi. Akshay Kumar will be seen in this film with actor Saif Ali Khan. 'Haiwaan' is inspired by Priyadarshan's 2016 hit film 'Oppam', but many changes have been made in its dialogues and script. Meanwhile, the director talked about his future planning.

The film 'Haiwaan' is Priyadarshan's 99th film. Mohanlal, who played the lead role in 'Oppam', will also be seen in a cameo role in 'Haiwaan'. Recently, Priyadarshan revealed in a conversation with 'Onmanorama' that his character will be a surprise for the audience. He further said that after 'Haiwaan', he is planning to direct his 100th film with Mohanlal in the lead role. Although the script of this project is not yet finalized, its shooting is expected to start next year.

When Priyadarshan was questioned about working with Akshay Kumar continuously, he said, 'It is all a matter of comfort'. About the sequels, he admitted, "I don't usually copy my original films with sequels, it's not my preferred style of working." He further made a shocking comment, "After I finish these films, I hope I retire. I'm tired."
