Salman Khan's film faces a huge loss after low collection
Sikandar Piracy Loss: The film 'Sikandar' has now become a noose around the neck for the makers. Yes, the film already performed poorly at the box office and now the makers have suffered huge losses in another case.

Salman Khan's much-talked-about film 'Sikandar' may have performed well at the box office, but recent reports clearly indicate the makers' growing concerns. Following a recent audit, it has been revealed that the creators have incurred significant losses due to film piracy.
The film 'Sikandar' was released during the Eid 2025 celebration and received mixed reactions from the audience. Although the film made Rs 110 crore in India and Rs 184 crore globally, the true setback occurred when its pirated version was leaked on the internet just hours after the film's release.
According to Amar Ujala sources, this big case of piracy was investigated by a reputed auditing company like Ernst & Young. This investigation revealed that the film suffered a loss of about Rs 91 crore due to piracy.
The special thing was that the leaked version also included many scenes that were not released in theaters. These included some emotional scenes, background score and sequences related to the development of some characters, which the audience did not get to see in the official release. In one scene, there was a mention of Sikandar's wife's dream of becoming a lawyer, while in another scene medical students meet Sikandar in Dharavi. If reports related to the industry are to be believed, the film was leaked only after getting approval from CBFC, due to which the needle of suspicion is also turning towards some insiders.
Now the makers are engaged in the process of making an insurance claim to compensate for this huge loss. It is being told that the film was already insured for a large amount, so that any such unexpected loss could be compensated.
Rashmika Mandanna also played the lead role in the film along with Salman Khan. This film full of action and drama was initially seen to have tremendous craze, but later its story and screenplay received mixed response from the audience and critics.
Just a few weeks after the release of the film, news of its piracy started coming out, but by then the damage had been done. Now this matter has not only created a big financial crisis in front of the makers, but has also once again raised questions on the seriousness of piracy in the industry.
