Sonakshi broke her silence on being sidelined in 'Son of Sardar 2', said - felt insulted…

Audience loved Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha in the film 'Son of Sardaar'. However, she was not given a place by the makers in 'Son of Sardar 2'. Mrinal Thakar played the lead role in the film in her place. Now Sonakshi has finally clarified her absence in the second part of this film starring Ajay Devgan. 

Sonakshi Sinha reacted to not being a part of 'Son of Sardar 2' in a conversation with Hindustan Times. She said, 'As far as I can see, he went abroad for the film Son of Sardar 2. So the same character could not be a part of the story. You cannot feel insulted just for this. You have to be practical and take each film as a separate project.'

Mrinal Thakar was in the lead role with Ajay Devgan in the film 'Son of Sardar 2'. This film was directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. Actors like Ravi Kishan, Vindu Dara Singh and Sanjay Mishra were also present in this comedy drama.

Talking about the work front, Sonakshi Sinha's upcoming film is 'Jatadhara'. Sonakshi Sinha's look from this film has also been revealed, which her fans also liked a lot. South actor Sudhir Babu will be seen in the lead role with the actress in the film. Apart from this, Sonakshi was last seen in 'Nikita Roy'. This film was directed by Kush Sinha. In the film, Sonakshi played the role of a woman who is broken, stubborn and somewhere lost in her own thoughts.
