Sonali Bendre is now observed hosting Colors TV's show 'Pati Patni Aur Panga'. But do you know that Sonali began her career through films and after delivering a hit movie like 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', she suddenly shifted to TV? At that time people used to criticize her decision and even labeled her as misguided.

In fact, 50-year-old Sonali stepped into TV with 'Kya Masti Kya Dhoom' after the success of 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'. The actress told PTI in a conversation that due to her decision, people felt that she was choosing the wrong path. Sonali said, 'Everyone thought that I have lost my way. Working on TV was not considered right at that time. People used to say - why is she doing TV?' But Sonali accepted this challenge and made her mark in TV. She said that 'Kya Masti Kya Dhoom' was a great show and she liked its concept very much. Sonali also said that she also earned well from that show.

Sonali credited her husband Goldie Behl for helping her take the best decision. She told that Goldie had told her that 'this (TV) is the future, TV is going to be big. Sonali listened to her husband and decided to work in TV.' Sonali says that TV is one of the best things in her life. Along with this, Sonali further said that 'the children of the first reality show who used to watch me at that time have grown up now and they still remember me. So your life as a celebrity is as long as your fans remember you.'

Before Colors TV's show 'Pati Patni Aur Panga', Sonali Bendre has entered OTT with 'The Broken News Season 1 and 2'. It stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sonali Bendre and Shriya Pilgaonkar in lead roles. This series shows the battle of ideologies going on in Indian journalism and the changing form of news in the era of social media.
