Teja Sajja Confirms He Has Not Stepped Away From ‘Jai Hanuman’

South Indian actor Teja Sajja is making the news for the sequel to the movie 'Hanuman'. Recently, there were rumors that actor Teja Sajja had withdrawn from the sequel for the 2024 blockbuster film 'Hanuman'. Since there are no developments on 'Jai Hanuman' yet, many fans thought this to be the case. But Teja Sajja recently told HT that he has not withdrawn from the sequel. 

There were reports on social media that Teja Sajja would not be a part of the 'Hanuman' sequel. There were also reports that he had stepped away from the film. It was claimed that he was withdrawing from the Prashanth Varma Cinematic Universe, citing "limited screen time" and "creative differences." However, Teja Sajja has vehemently denied such reports. Teja Sajja stated, "These are false reports that I am not a part of 'Jai Hanuman.'" He has stated that he is not withdrawing from the project.

In April 2024, Teja Sajja announced that the film would be based on Lord Hanuman. Talking about his role in 'Jai Hanuman,' he said, "I will also be a part of 'Jai Hanuman.' The film will be based on Lord Hanuman." In December 2024, he stated, "I am looking forward to going on set. I am excited for it."

Note that 'Jai Hanuman' is a sequel to 'Hanuman.' In October 2024, it was announced that Rishabh Shetty had been cast to play Hanuman in 'Jai Hanuman.' Shooting for the film has not yet begun.
