Teja Sajja Talks About Hindi Accent, Online Trolls and Working with Dharma Productions
Teja Sajja: Telugu star Teja Sajja has become popular across India. He has explained why he doesn't speak in Hindi. He has also talked about working in Bollywood.
Teja Sajja, a South star, is in the headlines these days for his commendable acting in the films ‘Hanu Maan’ and ‘Miraay’. It is said that the accents of South Indian actors while pronouncing Hindi dialogues have been laughed at on social media platforms on many instances. Teja Sajja has expressed his opinions on the way to speak in Hindi and act in Bollywood.
Money Control quoted Teja Sajja as saying, "I speak in English because my Hindi is mixed with Hyderabadi slang." When asked if he would be subjected to trolling if he spoke Hindi, he replied, "No, I don't take trolling seriously. It doesn't matter to me."
During the conversation, he also discussed his desire to work in Bollywood. He jokingly offered a message for filmmaker Karan Johar. He laughingly said, "Whenever you meet Karan Sir, ask him when he's casting Teja in a Dharma Productions love story. I'd love to have that experience too."
He then clarified, "Joking aside, we're planning something interesting. Dharma Productions is working on a lot of new things, and Karan Sir is a wonderful person. He's incredibly sweet." Without revealing much, he hinted at a future collaboration with Dharma Productions.
Teja's recent film, "Mirai," was released in theaters in September. Set in the era of Emperor Ashoka, this Telugu superhero film blends mythology, fantasy, and action. Manoj Manchu and Shriya Saran also star in key roles. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni.
