Actress Palak Tiwari is in the limelight these days due to her new film 'The Bhootni', releasing recently. Palak's performance in the film is receiving mixed responses. Palak Tiwari, who is busy establishing herself in the industry, has also been criticized with charges of nepotism as the daughter of actress Shweta Tiwari. She has to endure this debate several times. But Palak has always been vocal on the issue of nepotism. According to her, on the internet, there are very harsh persons who troll, but it is our responsibility to carry along the legacy of parents.

During a recent interaction with Filmfare, when Palak Tiwari was asked about the trolling that her peers like Ananya Panday, Khushi Kapoor, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Junaid Khan face due to their filmy backgrounds, Palak Tiwari replied, “People on the internet are a little ruthless towards star kids. But I feel that there is a responsibility that comes with it.

People are very protective of our parents because they have grown up watching them. They love them. I know that playing Prerna has taught people the meaning of love. They have become so attached to Shweta Tiwari, so protective that when they see me acting as her daughter, they think that she will never match up to her. It is just people's attachment and love for our parents.”

Talking further about this and people's expectations, Palak said that we star kids never want to match our parents. She added, “People forget that we never want to match our parents. We know very well that we can never reach that milestone and we are their biggest fans. So, if you praise my mother, imagine how much I praise her, at least ten times. I think I can speak on behalf of all star kids that our only aim is to just maintain that legacy and not harm it. Eventually with time we will get there.”
