While promoting his film "Border 2," Ahan Shetty recently spoke about how people's perception of actors in the Hindi film industry is changing. He also explained how people on social media are trying to create a divide by drawing comparisons between him and other actors.
In an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, Ahan Shetty revealed that people have started comparing him to "Saiyaara" actor Ahan Pandey. The "Border 2" actor said, "These days, people react after watching a 2-3 second clip. This is what's happening in my generation. We're being pitted against each other. I know there are comparisons being made between me and Ahan Pandey."
Ahan Shetty further said, "I know her very well. I know how much hard work she put into the preparations for her film. There's no competition between us. We both have our own careers. We have love and respect for each other, and we want people to see that. We're from the same industry, but social media has divided us. That's why you don't see our support for each other."
Ahan Shetty once again spoke openly about the issue of nepotism and explained how much he had to endure because of this topic when 'Tadap' was released in 2021. The actor said, "It's been a long journey since my film 'Tadap' released in 2021. It wasn't easy, as there was a worldwide debate about nepotism. My father is an actor, and I aspire to be one. I believe you should focus solely on your work so that the surrounding noise doesn't affect your mind. I just try to give my 200 percent in films."
