Anu Malik Responds to Nephew Amaal’s Allegations, Focuses on Music Over Controversy

Recently, well-known musician Anu Malik responded openly for the first time to the serious allegations made by his nephew Amaal Malik. Amaal, who appeared on "Bigg Boss 19," accused his uncle of sabotaging his father Dabboo Malik's career and abandoning him during the 2005 Mumbai floods. Now, Anu Malik has broken his silence and clarified these allegations.

In an interview with "Hindustan Times," Anu Malik responded to Amaal's allegations. He said, "Repeating a lie a thousand times doesn't make it true." One shouldn't waste energy on everything.' The 64-year-old musician further explained that his father, Sardar Malik, always taught him not to harbor hatred or venom, or else his music would never remain pure.

Anu said, 'My father used to say," Even if someone hurts you, don't hold it in your heart. "' Your true strength is your creativity, which no one can take away. Whenever I feel sad, I sit at my piano and compose a new tune—that's my answer to the world.'

Over the past few years, Anu Malik has been embroiled in numerous controversies; however, he has consistently prioritized his music. He is currently working on songs for a romantic film. Anu explained, "This story is about a girl torn between love and fame. The director told me he wanted songs that would stand the test of time, and that's where this journey began."

At the end of the conversation, Anu Malik spoke from his heart. He said he feels he hasn't received the appreciation he deserves in the industry. He said, "I feel a little underutilized. I still have countless melodies within me that are yet to reach the world." This statement from Anu Malik comes amid ongoing differences within the Malik family. However, without naming anyone, he made it clear that he wants to focus more on his music than on controversies.

Anu Malik is one of the few Bollywood composers who has given numerous superhit songs from the 90s to the present. For him, music is not just a profession, but a spiritual practice.
